It was the last week of December when I was introduced to Mary Kay products and business opportunity. Loved everything I heard about it and fell in love with the Mary Kay products. I signed up to become a beauty consultant the same day and got my business started. 10 years later, I was a top producing Mary Kay Sales Director, I did 5 Unit Clubs, and had earned 5 free Mary Kay cars which included 3 Pink Cadillacs and a lot of other prizes. Then one day I decided to walk down the mountain and go in a different direction.
While I am very grateful to Mary Kay Inc for the opportunity they gave me for 10 years, I had to chose a different company when I decided to join direct sales marketing 7 years later. The following video explain why I did not join Mary Kay even though I have had a lot of Mary Kay Directors and Nationals who have tried to recruit me back in the business over the years.
